USB-C PD trigger module for power testing
This USB-C PD trigger module negotiates power delivery up to 100 W with compatible chargers or power banks. It lets engineers and hobbyists test supply capabilities or power devices that lack native PD support. The board includes an e-Mark chip to unlock 5 A output on 100 W sources. Voltage selection is retained after power loss.
Check your charger supports PD and target voltages
The connected USB-C power supply must implement the PD protocol or the module will not negotiate higher voltages. Not every PD charger offers all selectable levels; verify your supply can deliver 9 V, 12 V, 15 V or 20 V before ordering. The module must be plugged into the male end of the trigger board. No driver installation is required.
Onboard buttons and LEDs replace external tools
Integrated LEDs show the active voltage so you can confirm negotiation without a multimeter. Two tactile buttons handle voltage stepping, locking, unlocking and an automated test mode that cycles through every supported level. Settings remain stored when power is removed, and a permanent key lock prevents accidental changes during deployment.

Questions about this item
What comes in the box and is a USB-C cable included?
The module itself is supplied; a USB-C PD power source and any output cable for your device must be provided separately.
Should I choose the 12 V, 15 V or 20 V version for my project?
There is only one module; it negotiates 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V or 20 V depending on what the connected power supply supports.
Will the 100 W rating deliver full power to my laptop?
The board can pass up to 100 W at 20 V 5 A, but only if the charger and cable both support that voltage and current.
