1/24 scale 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air diecast

This 1/24 scale diecast model replicates the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air in blue with Toy Story graphics. It is made of diecast metal with plastic parts and features a detailed interior, exterior and engine compartment. The model includes opening hood, doors and trunk. It is an officially licensed Hollywood Rides collectible aimed at adult hobbyists.

Woody figure and rubber tires

A Woody diecast figure approximately three inches tall is included with the car. Real rubber tyres replace the plastic wheels often found on display models. The manufacturer’s original unopened packaging is supplied, though the box design may change without altering the product.

Display-ready assembly

The model arrives fully assembled inside its sealed box, so no construction is required. Diecast metal construction makes the item heavier than plastic alternatives, so handle with care when removing it from the packaging. Moving parts such as doors and the hood should be opened gently to avoid stress on the hinges.

Questions about this item

Will the diecast metal or the rubber tyres need any special care to prevent corrosion or cracking over time?

The model is made of diecast metal with some plastic parts and real rubber tyres; keep it in a dry display case and avoid prolonged direct sunlight to slow tyre hardening and metal oxidation.

Which moving part — the hood, doors or trunk — is most likely to loosen first if the model is opened and closed repeatedly?

The hood, doors and trunk all open on small metal hinges; frequent cycling will wear the hinge pins before the latch mechanisms, so limit handling to occasional display changes.

Does the 8.125-inch-long model generate any heat or noise when left on a shelf all day?

No — it is a static 1/24 scale collectible with no electronics, motors or batteries, so it produces zero heat and no audible noise regardless of how long it is displayed.
