1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Diecast

This 1/24 scale model replicates the 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 in light blue with white stripes from Jada's Bigtime Muscle series. It is an officially licensed product built for adult collectors who value authentic detailing in a display piece. The model combines diecast metal construction with select plastic parts for structural accuracy.

Opening Hood Doors Trunk Details

The model upgrades basic static replicas by adding functional opening hood, doors and trunk that reveal a detailed interior and engine bay. Real rubber tires replace moulded plastic wheels for a more realistic stance. True-to-scale exterior proportions and badging make the jump worthwhile for enthusiasts who want showroom accuracy without custom fabrication.

Stable Display Construction

Diecast metal gives the model a substantial feel that resists warping on a shelf over time. The fixed 1/24 scale keeps dimensions consistent at approximately 8 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 2.25 inches high. Packaging may vary between production runs while the model itself remains unchanged.

Questions about this item

How much shelf space does the 1/24 scale Camaro need with its 8-inch length?

The model measures approximately 8 inches long, 3.5 inches wide, and 2.25 inches high, so allow a footprint of roughly 8 by 3.5 inches on your display shelf.

Do the opening hood, doors, and trunk on this diecast Camaro require any tools to operate?

No tools are needed; the hood, doors, and trunk are hinged and designed to be opened by hand, but handle them gently to avoid stressing the small metal hinges.

What care do the real rubber tyres on this 1971 Camaro need over time?

Keep the model away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent the rubber from drying out or cracking, and dust the tyres occasionally with a soft brush.
