Scale and purpose

This 1/24 scale diecast model replicates K.A.R.R. from the 1982 Knight Rider television series. It is aimed at adult collectors who value screen-accurate detail and display-ready presentation.

Sustained display behaviour

The model uses diecast metal construction with plastic components to maintain structural integrity over long periods on a shelf. Integrated front lighting runs on three included LR44 button cells, providing consistent illumination without external power.

Build and daily handling

Real rubber tyres, a detailed interior, engine bay and exterior surfaces reflect the Hollywood Rides finish. Opening hood, doors and trunk allow periodic inspection or repositioning while the sturdy diecast chassis resists flex during routine dusting or relocation.

Questions about this item

Does the model generate noticeable heat or noise when the front lights are left on all day?

The LED lights draw very little power from the three included LR44 cells, so the model stays cool and silent even when illuminated continuously.

What additional items are required to make the lights work right out of the box?

Nothing extra is needed; three LR44 button-cell batteries are already supplied and installed for the front light feature.

Will the 1/24 scale K.A.R.R. match the size of other 1/24 diecast vehicles already on the shelf?

Yes, it shares the standard 1/24 proportion, measuring about 8.5 inches long, 3.25 inches wide and 2 inches high, so it lines up with existing 1/24 models.
