Jada Volkswagen Beetle #53 Herbie 1968 1/24 Diecast hobby collectible

Scale and Subject

This is a 1/24 scale diecast replica of the Volkswagen Beetle #53 "Herbie" from the 1968 film The Love Bug. It is aimed at adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value officially licensed movie memorabilia.

Diecast Construction Limits

The model uses diecast metal with plastic components to achieve detailed interior and exterior features. Real rubber tyres and opening panels for the frunk, doors, and engine compartment add tactile realism, though the mixed materials mean some fine parts may be more fragile than solid metal equivalents.

Display Footprint and Detail

At approximately 7.5 inches long the model fits standard display shelves while showcasing the iconic white and red striped livery. The included extra wheels allow a swapped look, but the fixed 1/24 scale means it cannot integrate with larger or smaller diorama collections without visual mismatch.
