Yoshi egg playset for Super Mario fans

This Jakks Pacific playset unfolds from a 9-inch Yoshi egg into a double-sided scene straight from the Super Mario Galaxy Movie. One side recreates a New York museum with a crumbling dinosaur skeleton, while the other reveals a Dry Outpost complete with a warp pipe, sliding rocks and a pop-up Pokey. It comes with a 1.5-inch Yoshi figure and an exclusive Fire Mario figure, each offering three points of articulation for simple posing.

Collectors and young players wanting

The set suits fans who want a compact, self-contained diorama that doubles as display storage for the included figures. Buyers who need a larger playset with electronic lights, sounds or motorised features will not find them here, and anyone looking for a wide cast of characters will have to purchase additional figures separately.

Exclusive Fire Mario figure included

The pack provides an exclusive Fire Mario figure that is not sold individually, making this the only way to obtain that specific variant. The 1.5-inch Yoshi figure matches the same scale, so both characters fit the playset and most other figures in the range.

Questions about this item

Does this playset need any extra figures to use the interactive features like the sliding rocks and pop-up Pokey?

The set includes a 1.5-inch Yoshi and an exclusive Fire Mario figure, each with 3 points of articulation, so the interactive features work right away. The egg also fits most other figures sold separately.

Will my existing 1.5-inch Super Mario figures fit inside the egg and on the playset panels?

Yes, the manufacturer states the playset fits most figures, so your current 1.5-inch collection should be compatible with the New York museum and Dry Outpost environments.

How can I confirm the Fire Mario figure is the exclusive version mentioned on the box?

The exclusive Fire Mario figure is included inside the 9-inch Yoshi egg packaging alongside the standard Yoshi figure; both have 3 points of articulation as specified for this model 432244.
