What the case holds

The Jansicotek 13.3 inch laptop case is a slim shoulder sleeve designed for ultrabooks and tablets up to 13.3 inches. It fits devices such as MacBook Air 13, MacBook Pro 13, Surface Pro 3 and 4, and similar notebooks. Two internal flannelette compartments cushion the computer and provide space for documents or a thin charger. The case suits commuters and students who carry a single device daily.

How it fits in a bag

External dimensions are 14.5 x 10 x 1.2 inch (370 x 255 x 30 mm) so the sleeve slides into a backpack or briefcase without adding bulk. A sturdy side handle and a detachable shoulder strap give two carrying options for longer journeys. A luggage back-belt secures the case to a rolling suitcase handle. Water-resistant Oxford cloth repels light rain and splashes.

Behaviour under daily load

The 1.2 inch (30 mm) profile keeps weight close to the body during extended wear. Dual compartments separate the laptop from accessories, preventing pressure points on the chassis. Flannelette lining resists abrasion from repeated insertion and removal. The shoulder strap distributes load evenly across the shoulder for walks across campus or through terminals.

Questions about this item

How much room is left inside the 13.3 inch sleeve after a 13.8 x 9.6 x .8 inch laptop is inserted?

The internal cavity measures 13.9 x 9.4 x 1.2 inches, so there is roughly .1 inch extra length, .2 inch less height, and .4 inch more depth than the laptop itself.

Does the water-resistant Oxford cloth and flannelette lining trap heat when the bag sits in direct sun all day?

The fabric is described as lightweight and water-resistant with a soft flannelette interior; no thermal-specification or ventilation data is supplied.

Which strap or handle must the buyer already have to carry this case hands-free?

The case includes a detachable shoulder strap and a luggage back-belt, so no extra strap is required for shoulder or trolley mounting.
