The Jansicotek HY-5001 splits a single HDMI source into one HDMI video output plus separate digital optical and analogue stereo audio outputs. It is designed for installers and home users who need to route sound from a 4K source to an amplifier, soundbar or speaker system while passing the picture to a display.

Build integration and connections

The unit accepts HDMI from players, consoles, PCs or streaming sticks and requires the included 5 V power adapter to operate. It provides an HDMI loop-through for the display and frees the audio path by delivering both SPDIF and RCA L/R signals simultaneously. No ARC support is present, so the extractor must sit between source and screen.

Sustained-load behaviour

The converter handles continuous 4K@30 Hz signals with 36-bit deep colour and up to 340 MHz bandwidth without signal loss.
