The Jansicotek KW206 is a 3.5in head-up display that connects to the standard OBDII port found on all 1996 and newer gasoline and diesel cars. It projects real-time driving data onto the windscreen so the driver keeps eyes on the road. The unit includes an OBD2 cable, USB cable and English manual in a single set.

Practical limits of the OBDII interface

The device communicates through the mandatory OBDII connector using the full suite of supported protocols including J1850 dual protocol and ATTPS commands. It reads and clears generic diagnostic trouble codes and streams live parameter text data. Functions are restricted to the standardised PIDs the vehicle ECU makes available; manufacturer-specific codes or advanced bi-directional controls are not supported.

The display simultaneously monitors up to 34 data sets such as fuel level, engine load, fuel consumption and oxygen sensor readings B1S1 and B2S1.
