The Jansicotek PQ006 is a USB C to USB C cable built to the USB4 Gen 3x2 standard. It delivers up to 40Gbps bi-directional data transfer and supports 8K video at 60Hz. With Extended Power Range it can carry 240W at 48V for fast charging of laptops, phones, hubs, docks and SSDs.

Practical limits of USB4 Gen 3x2

The 40Gbps data rate and 240W power delivery require both host and device to implement USB4 Gen 3x2 with PD 3.1 EPR. Older USB 3.2, USB 3.1 or USB 2.0 ports will fall back to their own maximum speeds and lower wattage limits. Thunderbolt 3 and 4 hosts are compatible but Thunderbolt 2 needs an adapter not included.

Check your setup before ordering

Verify that your charger, laptop or dock supports PD 3.1 Extended Power Range to reach 240W; otherwise the cable will negotiate a lower wattage such as 140W, 100W or 60W. Confirm both ends have USB C ports — this cable is not for USB A or Micro USB devices. Ensure your monitor and source support 8K at 60Hz over USB C alt mode if that resolution is needed.
