Fast charging at up to 60 W requires both the charger and the phone to support the relevant quick-charge protocol, and maximum 10 Gbps data rates require the device port to support USB 3.1 Gen 2 or USB 3.2 Gen 2; the cables do not carry video signals and cannot link two host devices.

USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface limits data

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface caps data transfer at 10 Gbps (1250 MB/s) and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 3.0 speeds.
