Jansicotek PQ068 USB-C Extension 6.6ft

The Jansicotek PQ068 is a 6.6ft USB-C male-to-female extension cable built for users who need extra reach between a host and a Type-C peripheral. It handles both data and power in a single black nylon-braided run, so laptops, tablets and phones stay connected across a desk or bench.

USB 3.2 10Gbps and 100W power delivery

This cable carries USB 3.2 traffic at up to 10Gbps and supports 100W charging at 20V/5A, provided the charger, host and device all support that rate. It will not work with Thunderbolt 3 docks, hubs or cables, so buyers needing Thunderbolt connectivity must choose a different product.

Plug-in installation with one compatibility trap

Installation is a simple plug-in: connect the male end to the host and the female end to your existing USB-C cable. The only common pitfall is attempting to use it with a Thunderbolt 3 dock or a USB-A / Mini-B adapter, which the cable does not support.

Questions about this item

What does the 10 Gbps rating mean when I plug this cable into my laptop?

It lets the cable move data at USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds so large files such as 5 GB videos finish in roughly 5 to 10 seconds, provided both the host port and the connected device also support 10 Gbps.

Which USB standard does the connector use and what does that limit in practice?

The cable follows USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 at 10 Gbps, so it caps data at that rate and cannot carry Thunderbolt 3 dock or hub traffic even though the plug fits.

How much space does the 6.6 ft length and the male-to-female ends need to sit on a desk?

The braided nylon jacket adds minimal bulk while the aluminium shells on each end keep the connectors low-profile, so the 6.6 ft run coils neatly behind a monitor or along a desk edge without blocking adjacent ports.
