Extended Gaming Surface

The Jansicotek World Map Gaming Mouse Pad measures 800 by 300 millimetres with a 2 millimetre profile. Its micro-textured cloth surface supports both optical and laser sensors for accurate tracking. A non-slip rubber base keeps the mat stationary during rapid movements. Stitched edges prevent fraying over extended use.

Cloth Surface Limits

The textile top layer provides low friction but will absorb liquids if spills are not cleaned promptly. Heavy abrasion from rough mouse feet can wear the micro-texture faster than hard pads. Folding the mat for transport may leave temporary creases that relax after a few hours flat. The 2 millimetre thickness offers minimal wrist cushioning compared to thicker mats.

Compatibility Check

Verify your desk provides at least 800 by 300 millimetres of clear space for the full mat. Confirm your mouse sensor performs well on cloth surfaces; some high-DPI sensors prefer harder pads. Ensure the rubber base adheres to your desk material — glass or polished surfaces may reduce grip. Buyers needing a smaller footprint or thicker wrist support should consider other options.

Questions about this item

Which size should I pick for a full keyboard and mouse?

The 800 x 300 mm pad covers both a full-size keyboard and mouse in one surface, while the 400 x 900 mm version is wider but shorter. Choose the layout that matches your desk space.

What does the 2 mm thickness mean for daily use?

At 2 mm the pad sits low on the desk, giving a firm feel that keeps wrist height stable during long sessions and lets the mouse glide without sinking into foam.

How does the stitched edge affect durability?

Anti-fray stitching around the perimeter stops the cloth from peeling after repeated washing or folding, so the surface stays smooth for precise tracking.
