Extended desk mat with world-map print

The Jansicotek WorldMap mat covers a 35.4 by 15.7 inch area so a full-size keyboard and mouse sit on the same surface. A smooth cloth top layer rests on a natural-rubber base that is 2 mm thick and carries a ROHS certificate. Stitched edges prevent fraying during daily use. The printed design shows standard world time zones across the black surface.

Cloth surface limits for sensor tracking

Optical and laser sensors glide consistently on the fine-weave fabric, yet the surface is not coated for hyper-fast glide or controlled stopping power. The rubber underside grips desks firmly but can shift on polished glass or heavily textured tabletops. Liquid spills bead on the cloth, giving time to wipe before moisture reaches the rubber layer.

Capacity for low-DPI sweeping and desk coverage

The XXXL footprint accommodates broad, low-sensitivity mouse arcs without running off the edge, while still leaving room for a tenkeyless or full-size keyboard. Users who need a second mat for a separate mouse zone or who prefer a hard plastic surface for competitive flick shots will find this cloth pad unsuitable. The 2 mm profile adds minimal height but does not cushion wrist pressure like a dedicated gel rest.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 35.4 x 15.7 inch or the 35.5 x 15.8 inch version?

Both listings describe the same mat; the millimetre size is 900×400 mm and the thickness is 2 mm.

What does the 35.4 x 15.7 inch size mean for my desk layout?

It covers 900×400 mm, so a full-size keyboard and mouse sit side by side with room to spare.

Does the rubber base meet any material standard?

The pad uses natural rubber with a ROHS certificate confirming restricted-substance compliance.
