Questions about this item

How is the Jaspertronics BL-FP280I lamp module installed and what step do people often miss?

Power down and unplug the projector, let it cool fully, remove the lamp cover screws, slide out the old housing, insert the new BL-FP280I unit until it clicks, replace the cover, then reset the lamp timer in the menu so the projector tracks the new 280 W Phoenix SHP320 module correctly.

What maintenance will the BL-FP280I need later?

No periodic maintenance is required; when brightness drops after the rated lifespan the entire lamp-and-housing module is replaced as one unit, and the 1-year warranty covers premature failure of the Phoenix SHP320 lamp.

What limit appears first during sustained use of this 280 W AC lamp?

The 280 W AC power draw and heat output set the practical limit; the projector’s thermal protection will dim or shut down the Phoenix SHP320 lamp if airflow is restricted or ambient temperature rises too high.
