This Jaspertronics BL-FU280B lamp and housing module is built for Optoma projectors including the Compact-223, EW766, EX765, EX766W, OPW4000, OPX4020, TW766W and TX765W. It replaces the original BL-FU280B part with a new unit that uses a Jaspertronics OEM UHP280/245W5555 lamp running at AC 280w. Schools, offices and home users who own one of these models can restore brightness with a direct-fit replacement.

Installation Notes

The module arrives as a complete lamp-and-housing assembly so no separate bulb handling is required. Power the projector down and let it cool before opening the lamp door, then remove the old cartridge and slide the new one in until it seats firmly. A common mistake is forgetting to reset the lamp-hour counter in the menu after installation, which leaves the replacement warning active. Handle the housing by its frame to avoid contaminating the optical surfaces.
