Original replacement lamp and housing module with Phoenix SHP132 220 W lamp for Viewsonic MP515, PJD5122 and PJD5352 projectors
The Jaspertronics RLC-055 supplies a new lamp and housing assembly built to the original Phoenix SHP132 specification. It fits Viewsonic models including the MP515, MP515-ST, PJD5122 and PJD5352. Buyers who need a different connector or a higher-wattage module cannot use this part.
The lamp operates at a rated DC 220 w power level, matching the factory specification for consistent brightness. The housing is designed to dissipate heat through the projector's existing cooling path without adding audible fan noise. No separate power adapter or external ballast is required.
This module replaces a dimmed or failed RLC-055 lamp in the listed Viewsonic projectors, restoring original luminance and colour balance. The upgrade is worthwhile when the current lamp has reached its rated hours or shows visible flicker. It does not add smart features, wireless casting or lens-shift capability.

Power off and unplug the projector, let it cool completely, remove the lamp cover screws, slide out the old housing, insert the new RLC-055 unit until it clicks, replace the cover, then reset the lamp timer in the menu — skipping the timer reset is the step most users forget.
The Phoenix SHP132 lamp inside the housing is a consumable rated for typical projector hours; when brightness drops noticeably or the projector warns of end-of-life, replace the entire RLC-055 housing module — no separate bulb swap is required.
The 220 w power draw generates heat that the projector’s cooling system must manage; if filters are clogged or ventilation is restricted, thermal protection will dim or shut down the lamp before the rated hours are reached.
