Questions about this item

What interface does the 69 V arc use and what does it cap in practice?

The lamp uses a high-pressure short-arc discharge at 69 V; the arc gap of .8 mm limits the operating voltage and stabilises the 5150 lm output.

What physical clearance does the 46 x 45 mm lamp need to fit in a moving-head fixture?

The lamp body measures 46 x 45 mm and requires a 37.7 mm working distance from the reflector to seat correctly in compatible heads.

How is the universal burn-position lamp installed and what step is often missed?

Insert the lamp so the arc gap aligns with the optical axis, then secure the retaining clips; skipping the alignment check causes hot-spotting and shortens the 6000 h rated life.
