Jaspertronics U-Stage 2R Lamp

This Jaspertronics U-Stage 2R is a 132W high-pressure short arc lamp rated at 5150 lumens and 8000K colour temperature. It serves as a direct replacement for the ADJ Vizi Roller Beam 2R moving head fixture. The lamp operates at 69V with a 0.8mm arc gap and a universal burn position. Average rated life is 6000 hours.

Stage Lighting Professionals

Lighting technicians who need a reliable 132W discharge source for compatible moving heads will find this lamp matches the specified 37.7mm working distance and 46x45mm form factor. It suits venues running Elation, Martin, Chauvet, ADJ, Robe or similar 2R fixtures listed in the compatibility data. Buyers who require a different wattage, base type or colour temperature should look at alternative lamp codes.

Straightforward Lamp Swap

Installation follows the fixture manufacturer’s standard lamp-change procedure; the universal burn position removes orientation constraints. Ensure power is isolated and the unit has cooled before handling the quartz envelope. The most common issue is reduced output or premature failure caused by oil contamination from bare fingers, so use a clean cloth or gloves during fitting.

Questions about this item

Which moving-head fixture must I already own for this 132 W 8000 K lamp to fit and strike?

It is built as a direct replacement for the ADJ Vizi Roller Beam 2R and also matches the Elation Sniper 2R, Martin Rush MH4, Chauvet Rogue R1 Beam and the other models listed in the compatibility table.

Will the 0.8 mm arc gap and 69 V operating voltage let it run in my older 150 W discharge fixture without modification?

No — the lamp is rated at 132 W and 69 V with a 37.7 mm working distance, so it will not strike correctly in a fixture designed for 150 W or different voltage and gap specifications.

After installation, how can I confirm the lamp is delivering its rated 5150 lumen output at 8000 K?

A steady, bright white beam with no flicker or colour shift during the first few minutes indicates normal ignition; the fixture’s internal hour counter should begin logging toward the 6000-hour average rated life.
