High-Pressure 2R Stage Lamp

The Jaspertronics U-Stage 2R is a high-pressure short arc discharge lamp built as a direct replacement for the ADJ Vizi Beam RXONE moving head fixture. It delivers 5150 lm at an 8000K colour temperature from a 132 W arc operating at 69 V. The universal burn position allows installation in any orientation required by the fixture design.

Straightforward Lamp Swap

Replacement consists of opening the fixture housing, unplugging the old lamp, and seating the new unit so its 0.8 mm arc gap aligns with the optical path. The 37.7 mm working distance and 46 x 45 mm envelope match the original specification, so no mechanical adjustment is needed. The most common error is touching the quartz envelope with bare fingers, which creates hot spots and shortens the 6000 h rated life.

Verify Fixture Compatibility

Before ordering, confirm that your moving head is listed among the supported models such as the ADJ Vizi Beam RXONE, Elation Rayzor Beam 2R, or Chauvet Rogue R1 Beam. Cross-reference the product code 5002463 (2R) with the fixture manual to ensure the correct lamp type is specified. Using this lamp in an unlisted fixture risks incorrect arc positioning and premature failure.
