Jay R. Smith Mfg. Co 4470 4 in. Floor Cleanout

4-Inch Floor Cleanout for Drain Access

This Jay R. Smith Mfg. Co 4470 floor cleanout provides a 4-inch access point for plumbing maintenance. The cast bronze body and cover deliver corrosion resistance in wet environments. It is designed for screw-in installation on compatible cleanout drains. The round bronze grate includes a plug for a sealed finish.

Verify Drain Compatibility Before Ordering

Confirm the existing drain accepts a 4-inch screw-in cleanout cover. The unit requires a matching cleanout drain body with compatible threads. Check that the 1-inch overall height suits the finished floor level. This model is not ADA compliant for accessible routes.

Cast Bronze Construction Handles Standard Loads

The solid cast bronze material withstands typical residential and light commercial foot traffic. No moving parts or mechanical seals mean silent operation without maintenance. The bronze finish resists rust and staining from water exposure. Power draw and active cooling are not applicable to this passive fitting.
