Portable Party Speaker with Built-in Light Show

The JBL PartyBox Encore Essential is a wireless speaker designed for portable entertainment. It delivers JBL original pro sound with deep bass and features a dynamic light show that syncs to the beat. An integrated handle makes it easy to carry the speaker to any gathering.

Suited for Mobile Gatherings and Karaoke

This speaker suits users who need a splash-proof sound system for beach trips, pool sides, or outdoor events. The IPX4 rating protects against splashes while the wired microphone input enables karaoke sessions. Buyers who require longer than six hours of continuous battery operation or need a speaker without a light show should consider other options.

Up to 6 Hours of Battery Play Time

The internal battery provides up to six hours of play time on a single charge, allowing extended use away from power outlets. Actual duration varies with volume level and light show usage. This runtime is the key specification for deciding if the speaker meets the length requirements of a planned event.

No, the speaker connects wirelessly via Bluetooth and does not have an auxiliary input for wired audio sources.

How can I confirm the light show is properly syncing to my music after I turn it on?

The ring light and strobe effect will pulse and flash in time with the beat of whatever audio is playing through the speaker.

Does the box include a wired microphone for the karaoke input, or do I need to buy one separately?

A wired microphone is not included; you will need to purchase a compatible mic separately to use the karaoke input.
