Two-Person Dome Tent for Solo and Duo Camping

The JELUCAMP JLP-TENT-8847 is a freestanding dome shelter rated for two occupants. Its lightweight frame suits solo backpackers wanting extra gear space or couples on weekend trips. Dark green polyester fabric blends into forest sites while the compact packed size fits standard backpacks.

PU3000 Waterproof Coating

The flysheet carries a PU3000 coating that resists heavy rain without wetting through. Poles measure 7.9 mm in diameter and slot into colour-coded sleeves for a rigid structure that holds shape in wind. Seams are factory-sealed with waterproof adhesive to stop capillary leaks.

Mesh Windows, Gear Pockets and Lantern Hook

Two mesh windows give cross-ventilation while keeping insects outside. Interior storage pockets organise headlamps, phones and small essentials off the floor. A ceiling suspension hook accepts a lantern or light strip for hands-free illumination after dark.

Questions about this item

How much floor space does the 86.6 by 59.1 inch footprint give two people?

The rectangular floor measures 86.6 inches long by 59.1 inches wide, giving two adults enough room to lie side by side with a little gear space at the foot.

What does the PU3000 coating actually stop in a storm?

The PU3000 rating means the polyester fabric withstands a 3000 mm water column, so heavy rain runs off without leaking through the material or the taped seams.

What clearance do the 7.9 mm fiberglass poles need when packed?

The 7.9 mm poles collapse into short sections that fit inside the included carry bag, so the packed tent stays compact enough for a standard backpack.
