Portable speaker for phones and players

The Jensen SMPS-125 is a compact portable speaker system designed for universal compatibility with phones and digital audio players. It connects through an auxiliary input with a retractable stereo plug and includes a cord for quick hook-up. Two built-in high-fidelity speakers deliver sound for personal listening.

Suits wired listening on the go.

This unit suits anyone who wants a simple wired speaker for a phone, MP3 player or tablet without relying on Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Battery operation with four AAA cells makes it useful away from mains power. Buyers who want wireless streaming, a built-in rechargeable battery or a supplied mains adaptor should look at other models.

Auxiliary input with retractable plug decides fit

The sole audio interface is an auxiliary input with a retractable stereo plug, so the source device must provide a matching output. Volume control and an LED power indicator are built in. The speaker measures 8.27"h x 6.3"w x 1.77"d and runs from four AAA batteries or an optional AC adaptor.
