Metal Cage Lantern

The JHY DESIGN metal cage lantern is a battery powered table lamp standing 7.3 inches tall. Its black metal frame encloses a clear glass tube filled with 20 warm white fairy lights. The cordless design suits indoor and outdoor settings where a mains socket is unavailable. A sturdy base allows placement on any flat surface or hanging by the supplied hemp rope.

Sustained Glow

Three AAA batteries power the lamp for months of typical evening use without a recharge cycle. Light output remains steady because the LEDs draw minimal current from the cells. The warm white glow stays easy on the eyes during long dinners or overnight power cuts. No wiring means the lamp can be moved mid-event without interrupting the illumination.

Battery Interface Limits

The lamp accepts only standard AAA cells, so runtime is fixed by the chemistry and capacity of the batteries you choose. Rechargeable or single use types both work but cannot be charged inside the unit. There is no USB port, solar panel or mains adapter included, so the light stops when the cells are exhausted. Users who need continuous all night output every day will find the battery swap interval too frequent.

Questions about this item

Does the 20 fairy-light LEDs generate noticeable heat if the lantern runs all day?

The 20 warm-white fairy lights are low-power LEDs inside a glass tube; they stay cool to the touch even after hours of continuous use.

What must I already own to power the 7.3-inch lantern?

You need three AAA batteries, which are not included, to operate the cordless lamp.

Can the black metal cage lantern sit safely on an antique wooden sideboard?

The sturdy flat base measures 6.9 inches square and has no exposed heat sources, so it rests securely on delicate vintage surfaces.
