Rechargeable BTE hearing amplifiers

The Jinghao JH-338 is a pair of behind-the-ear hearing amplifiers designed for everyday listening support. Each unit weighs very little and uses an ergonomic hook that sits securely and discreetly. They recharge via USB and provide up to 18 hours of continuous use after an 8.5-hour charge. A red LED shows charging and green shows a full battery.

Users needing simple volume control

The swipe-up and swipe-down volume adjustment makes these suitable for people who want straightforward operation without buttons or apps. The 500 Hz to 3200 Hz frequency range covers speech frequencies for natural sound. Buyers who require Bluetooth streaming, smartphone app control, or custom audiogram programming should look at other devices.

50 dB maximum gain (FOG50)

This single figure defines the amplification ceiling of the JH-338. If a hearing assessment shows you need more than 50 dB of gain, these amplifiers will not provide enough output. The 128 dB maximum SPL (OSPL90) and 7% total harmonic distortion are also specified, but the gain limit is the primary factor for deciding suitability.
