Compact 8x25 Monocular

The Jizmo MS825 is a pocket-sized monocular with 8x magnification and a 25-millimeter objective lens. It weighs 160 grams and measures 3.6 inches by 2.2 inches by 1.8 inches. The BAK4 prism and fully multi-coated optics deliver up to 99.5 percent light transmission for bright, sharp images with true color fidelity.

Wide View for Outdoor Users

Bird watchers, hikers, and concert-goers benefit from the 6.5-degree field of view covering 342 feet at 1000 yards. The 12-inch close focus lets you study insects or museum exhibits at arm's length. Buyers needing higher magnification for distant astronomy or a binocular form factor for two-eyed viewing should consider other optical styles.

Hand-Held Ready

The monocentric eyepiece offers 16-millimeter eye relief and 8.0 diopter compensation so spectacle wearers can twist down the rubber cup and observe comfortably. No tripod mount or smartphone adapter is mentioned, so the unit is intended for direct hand-held use. A wrist strap or belt pouch keeps the 1.75-inch-wide body secure during travel or sporting events.

Questions about this item

What eye relief does the monocular provide for spectacle wearers?

The eyecup twists down to give 16 mm eye relief and up to 8.0 dioptre compensation, so you can press the optic lightly against your glasses and still see the full 6.5° field.

How much does the unit weigh when carried in a pocket?

It weighs 160 g (5.6 oz) and measures 3.6 × 2.2 × 1.8 in, making it a true palm-size monocular that adds negligible bulk to a jacket or trouser pocket.

How can I verify the close-focus claim after setup?

Place a target at 1 ft (30 cm); the manual focus should render it sharply, confirming the stated extreme close-focus capability.
