Questions about this item
Will the USB 3.0 Type-C port work with my older laptop that only has USB 2.0 Type-A ports?
Use a USB-C to USB-A adapter; the reader will fall back to USB 2.0 speeds on that port.
How can I confirm the Genesys Logic GL3224 chip is delivering the advertised 5 Gbps link after I plug it in?
Check the OS device manager or System Information — it should list the reader at SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps.
Does the package include a USB-C to USB-A adapter for legacy ports, or must I buy one separately?
The box contains only the reader with its three built-in connectors; any adapter for older Type-A ports is a separate purchase.
