Purpose and Design

The Jobar International JB8634 is a collapsible sitz bath made for anyone needing targeted perineal relief at home. Its white basin fits most standard and elongated toilets, and the manual pump delivers a gentle water spray without requiring electricity or plumbing changes. Weighing .85 lbs, it is light enough to position and remove single-handedly.

Practical Details

The manual pump lets the user control spray pressure for comfort, while overflow holes and contoured edges keep water inside the basin. The collapsible frame folds flat for storage in a cabinet or travel bag, and the smooth surface allows the addition of Epsom salts, lavender or other clinician-recommended additives without staining. No assembly tools are required.

Who Benefits and Who Does Not

This unit suits people recovering from childbirth, hemorrhoid flare-ups, anal fissures or general perineal irritation who want a portable, toilet-mounted option. Buyers who need a hands-free recirculating system, a permanently installed fixture, or a basin that accommodates full-body immersion should consider alternative hydrotherapy equipment.

Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace the manual pump on the JB8634?

The manual pump is built into the unit and has no separate replacement schedule; keep it clean and it should last the life of the bath.

What stops the water from overflowing during a long soak?

Integrated overflow holes let excess water drain back into the toilet bowl so the level never rises above the rim.

Does the white plastic get too hot if I run warm water through it all day?

The material stays near water temperature and the contoured edges remain comfortable to touch during extended use.
