1967 Shelby GT-350 Diecast

This 1/64 scale diecast model replicates the 1967 Shelby GT-350 in red with white side stripes. It features a die-cast metal body and chassis, detailed interior and exterior, real rubber tyres, and an opening hood. The model is an officially licensed Mecum Auctions Pop Culture 2024 release.

Limited Edition Collectible Upgrade

This limited edition release replaces standard open-wheel or mass-market diecast cars with a licensed, true-to-scale replica. The jump is worth it for collectors who value authentic Mecum Auctions branding and manufacturer-original unopened packaging over generic hobby models.

Display-Ready Blister Pack

The model arrives in a blister pack approximately three inches long, designed for immediate shelf display without additional mounting hardware. The sealed packaging preserves mint condition while freeing up space that loose or boxed collections would otherwise occupy.

Questions about this item

Does the blister pack have a standard peg hole so I can hang this 1/64 Shelby on a display rack?

The model ships in a blister pack designed for retail peg display, so the card back includes a standard hang hole for hooks or pegboards.

What is the trick to opening the hood on this diecast without snapping the hinge?

Apply gentle upward pressure at the front centre of the hood; the hinge is a small plastic pin that releases with light force rather than a latch.

Will the red paint and white side stripes on this limited edition fade if I keep it in a sunlit cabinet?

The factory-applied tampo stripes and clear coat resist fading under normal indoor light, but prolonged direct sunlight will eventually dull the red finish.
