JohnsonDiversey Butyl All Purpose Cleaner

The JohnsonDiversey 95892221 Butyl All Purpose Cleaner is a concentrated alkaline liquid supplied in two 2.5 L bottles. It carries a C1 NSF rating and CFIA and Kosher certifications for use on hard nonporous surfaces. The product is nonflammable with a flash point of 200 Degrees F and contains zero percent VOCs.

Facilities needing no-rinse alkaline cleaning

This cleaner suits maintenance teams that require a no-rinse formula for floors, walls and equipment in food-handling or industrial settings. The pine fragrance and red colour coding support quick identification in a J-Fill dispenser system. Buyers who need a neutral pH product or a solvent-based degreaser should look at something else.

Two-bottle pack delivers high-volume dilution

Each 2.5 L bottle yields up to 16 parts diluted solution at the recommended 1:16 ratio, providing substantial headroom for daily mopping or spray-and-wipe tasks. The concentrated format reduces storage space compared to ready-to-use alternatives. Very large operations with continuous high-throughput demand may find the total 5 L supply requires frequent reordering.

Questions about this item

What dispenser system must I already have to use this J-Fill compatible cleaner?

You need a J-Fill dispenser series unit; the bottle is designed to fit that specific dispensing system.

Will the high alkalinity of pH 13.6 damage older sealed floors or sensitive surfaces I want to keep?

The product is formulated for hard nonporous surfaces; always test a small area first on older or sensitive materials.

How can I verify the dilution is correct after mixing it in my dispenser?

The J-Fill system meters at the recommended 1:16 ratio; confirm the pine fragrance and red colour appear in the solution.
