Compact Digital Clock for Bedroom Use
The jomparis US-H170C is a small digital alarm clock with a 3.15 inch LCD screen that shows time, date, day of the week, seconds and indoor temperature. It runs on two AAA batteries, which are not included, so it needs no mains socket and can sit on a nightstand or desk without cables. The black case measures 3.0 in by 3.81 in by 1.34 in.
Suited to Simple Timekeeping Needs
This clock suits anyone who wants a readable display with a temporary backlight that stays on for four seconds when the top logo is touched. It also offers a snooze function that adds five minutes after the two-minute alarm sounds. Buyers who need continuous illumination, projection, radio-controlled time sync or smart-home integration should look at other models.
Straightforward Battery Setup
Insert the two AAA cells, then use the rear MODE, UP and DOWN buttons to set the clock and choose between 12-hour and 24-hour format. The backlight activates with a touch on the top logo and turns off automatically. A common issue is forgetting that batteries are not supplied, so have them ready before first use.
