Tool Set Contents

This Jonard set includes a can wrench with integrated wire stripper and a security key insert for hex security screws. The two-piece kit targets technicians who service utility enclosures and telecommunications cabinets. It supplies the core tools for opening locked pedestals and stripping field wires in one package.

Hex Security Screw Compatibility

The security key insert fits 5/16 in hex security screws and features a 6-point socket design. Heat-treated alloy steel construction provides durability for repeated engagement with hardened fasteners. The hex exterior on the socket allows a wrench to be used for additional torque when screws are seized.

Sustained Field Use

The orange plastic handle on the can wrench offers grip comfort during extended maintenance sessions. Heat-treated sockets resist rounding when high torque is applied repeatedly over long shifts. The integrated wire stripper on the M-216CS22 handle reduces tool changes while terminating conductors inside enclosures.

Questions about this item

What does the 7 in tool length mean when I am working in a tight panel?

The 7 in overall length lets the can wrench reach recessed hex security screws while still giving enough leverage for the 6-point sockets to grip without rounding.

How does the hex shape on the outside of the sockets work with a standard wrench?

The external hex on each socket accepts an open-end or adjustable wrench so you can apply extra torque when the security screw is seized.

What does the orange plastic handle add to the M-216CS22 can wrench?

The orange plastic handle provides a non-slip grip and includes a built-in wire stripper for telecom and low-voltage prep work.
