Jonard GD-200 Dynamometer Gauge

The Jonard GD-200 is an analog dynamometer gauge built to measure tension from 200 g up to 2000 g with a stated accuracy of ±50 g. It provides direct readings in grams, pounds and newtons on a graduated dial for technicians who need a portable force reference.

Replaces spring scales and basic tension meters

This gauge replaces simple spring scales when repeatable graduation of 1 g is required across the 300 g to 2000 g working range. The jump is worth it for installers who must verify consistent pull values on cable or wire jobs without relying on digital battery life.

Two handles and a case simplify field use

The kit includes two handles, an English thread adapter, an AC adapter, an RS-232 output cable and a carrying case so the instrument is ready to mount and record. Auto power-off preserves the supply during breaks, and the analog dial removes any risk of screen failure in bright sunlight.

Questions about this item

What force range and graduation does the Jonard GD-200 dynamometer gauge cover?

The gauge measures from 200 to 2000 g-force with an analog display graduation of 1 g and a stated accuracy of ±50 g.

How do you connect the RS-232 output cable for data logging on this gauge?

Plug the supplied RS-232 cable into the gauge port and a PC serial port; the unit stores 0 records internally, so logging requires an active external connection.

Which items in the box will need periodic replacement or recalibration?

The analog mechanism and included handles may require recalibration over time; the 90-day manufacturer warranty covers initial defects.
