Contact burnisher file details

The Jonard OB-1/12 is a fine-cut contact burnisher file designed to remove oxide layers and corrosion from electrical contacts. It features a flat blade measuring 1/100 in thick and 3/16 in wide with a 1/64 in diameter and 1 1/2 in blade length. The 1 1/2 in handle allows precise control while cleaning live contacts without shocks or shorts. Each unit is packaged in a clear plastic bag to protect against grease and moisture.

Who should use this tool

Technicians maintaining relays, switches and connector contacts benefit from the fine cut that leaves no filings or debris behind. The tool suits field service and bench work where contact reliability is critical. Buyers needing aggressive material removal or coarse filing should look at something else. Those requiring insulated handles for high-voltage safety or different blade profiles will need alternative products.

Pack quantity

This product is sold as a pack of 12 burnisher files. The PK12 designation confirms the multi-unit quantity for workshops or teams that need multiple tools on hand. Verify the pack size matches your consumption rate before ordering.
