JONSBO NC-3 ARGB Memory Heatsink

The JONSBO NC-3 is an aluminium heat spreader designed to cool desktop memory modules. It fits DDR, DDR3 and DDR4 RAM in high, low, single-sided or double-sided configurations. The kit includes thermal silicone pads and an EVA thickness spacer for secure installation. RAM modules are not included with this product.

Addressable RGB lighting with 5V 3-pin connection

The heatsink integrates addressable RGB LEDs capable of displaying 256 colours simultaneously or individually. Lighting is controlled via a motherboard 5V 3-pin header or a separate RGB controller, which is not supplied. Compatibility with ASUS Aura Sync allows synchronisation with other system lighting. A spare accessory bag is included for mounting.

Practical limits of the 5V 3-pin ARGB interface

The 5V 3-pin addressable RGB header limits control to motherboards or controllers that provide this specific connection. Systems lacking a 5V 3-pin port cannot manage the lighting effects. Existing memory heatspreaders must be removed before installation, a process that carries a risk of damaging the RAM modules. The package excludes both RAM and an RGB controller.
