Star Wars Yoda Chia Pet Planter

The Joseph Enterprises CP446-01 brings the wise Jedi Master to life as a decorative planter for indoor gardening. It includes the pottery figure, a plastic drip tray and seed packets so everything needed to start growing is in one box. Adults and younger fans alike can enjoy watching green sprouts form Yoda’s distinctive coat.

Thermals noise and power

No electricity or powered components are involved so the planter runs silently and draws no power. Ambient room temperature and partial sunlight provide the only environmental requirements for the chia seeds to germinate. There are no fans, pumps or heating elements to create noise or heat.

Pottery construction and daily care

The unique pottery planter is paired with a convenient plastic drip tray that catches excess water during daily watering. Seeds are applied to the grooved surface and kept moist until sprouts appear, typically within a few days. The finished piece serves as a collectible display item that requires ongoing light and water to maintain its green appearance.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the Yoda Chia Pet planter and what step is often missed?

Soak the pottery planter before spreading the chia seeds evenly, then place it on the included plastic drip tray; the step people skip is the initial soak, which keeps the seeds moist enough to sprout.

What will I need to replace once the first growth cycle finishes?

The kit includes chia seed packets for the first planting; when those are used up you simply buy more chia seeds to replant the Yoda figure again.

What condition stops the sprouts from thriving if it is not met during extended display?

The planter requires partial sunlight; without that light the chia coat will yellow and stop growing.
