Chia Pet Garfield planter kit

This terracotta figurine grows chia seeds that sprout into a green coat resembling the comic-strip cat. The set includes the planter, a plastic drip tray and seed packets for three separate plantings. It suits adults who want a simple, repeatable gardening novelty.

Reusable planter with three seed packets

After each growth cycle the planter can be washed and replanted, so the same figurine yields fresh sprouts again. The drip tray keeps surfaces dry during watering and the extra seed packets extend the activity without additional purchases.

Indoor space with indirect light and a water source

Chia seeds need consistent moisture and moderate light to germinate within one to two weeks. Ensure you have a stable surface for the tray and can mist or water the seeds daily. Buyers who want a self-watering system or outdoor durability should look elsewhere.
