Three-Width Desoldering Kit

Practical Limits of Braid Width

The narrowest braid at .08 inches suits tight SMD leads, while the widest at .12 inches handles heavier through-hole connections. Only the three stated widths are provided, so joints larger than .12 inches may need multiple passes or a different tool. Flux activity is limited to the rosin coating already on the copper; heavily oxidised joints may still require supplemental flux. No cleaning agents are included for post-work residue removal.
