This Joy Walker rain cover fits backpacks with a capacity between 15 and 25 litres. It is designed for hikers, campers, cyclists and travellers who need reliable weather protection for day packs. The lake blue colour adds visibility in low light. The cover ships new in its own storage pouch.

210T taffeta shell rated to 12000 mm

The cover uses 210T taffeta blended with nylon and water-resistant cloth in a four-layer build. The outer fabric resists rips, scratches, dirt and sand while the inner double coating blocks rain, fog and snow. Upgraded anti-slip cross buckle straps keep the cover fixed in wind. No electrical or thermal specs apply.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the cover onto a 20 L pack and which strap step is often missed?

Slip the elastic hem over the pack, then fasten the upgraded anti-slip cross buckle straps across the front; the step people skip is tightening both buckle straps so the cover cannot shift.

What part of this cover will wear out first and need replacing?

The elastic hem and buckle straps take the most stress; inspect them each season and replace the cover if the elastic loses grip or a buckle cracks.

At what point does sustained heavy rain overwhelm the 12000 mm rating?

The 210t taffeta fabric is rated to 12000 mm water pressure; prolonged downpours beyond that pressure can eventually force moisture through the seams.
