Extreme Fitness Earbuds

JVC HAETR40B earbuds are built for active use with an IPX5 and IPX7 rating that makes them waterproof and washable. A one-button splashproof remote and microphone handles calls and playback on iPad, iPhone, iPod, Android and Blackberry devices. Pivot motion fit ear pieces stay secure during movement.

For workouts not critical listening

These suit runners, gym users and outdoor exercisers who need sweat-proof buds that can be rinsed clean after every session. The inline remote keeps a phone in a pocket or armband while you change tracks or answer calls. Buyers who want wireless freedom or active noise cancellation should look at something else.

IPX5 and IPX7 waterproof rating

The dual rating means the earbuds survive heavy splashes and can be submerged in water for washing without damage. This single specification decides whether the product matches a buyer who trains in rain, wipes gear down under a tap or needs hygiene-grade cleaning. No other figure in the data defines the fitness use case.
