Ultra-Rugged Cordless 1D Scanner Kit

The K&K LI3678-SR0F003VZCN is a cordless 1D barcode scanner supplied with a USB cradle for charging and data transfer. It is built for demanding environments where standard scanners fail. The advanced imager reads printed labels and on-screen codes quickly, even when they are damaged, dirty or covered by shrinkwrap.

Built for harsh industrial use

This scanner suits warehouses, manufacturing plants and cold-storage facilities that need a device able to survive repeated 2.4 m drops to concrete and full IP67 sealing. It operates reliably in extreme temperatures including freezer conditions. Buyers who only need occasional office scanning or require 2D code capture should consider a different class of device.

Superior 1D range and durability headroom

The imager delivers faster and longer reads on any 1D symbology than standard alternatives, providing comfortable headroom for high-volume workflows. The housing withstands 23 percent more drop impact than competing rugged models and survives 30 minutes of submersion. It does not decode 2D barcodes, so applications needing QR or Data Matrix support will need another solution.

Questions about this item

Will the scanner read a 1D barcode on a phone screen inside the freezer?

Yes, the imager reads 1D codes from screens or labels even when damaged, dirty or under shrinkwrap, and the unit is rated for extreme cold.

Can the cradle stay paired with a legacy USB-A host while the scanner roams wirelessly?

The kit uses Bluetooth for cordless communication between scanner and cradle, so the host sees a standard USB link while the scanner moves freely.

How do I confirm the IP67 seal is intact after a 2.4 m drop onto concrete?

The scanner survives an 8 ft drop and remains dust-proof and waterproof to IP67; a successful scan and normal charging in the cradle indicate the seals held.
