The Ilco 15395FA-04 is a solid brass replacement cylinder for key-in-knob and key-in-lever locksets. It uses a Segal SE1 keyway with a five pin tumbler mechanism. The satin brass US4 finish suits interior and exterior doors. It is sold keyed different for immediate installation.

Three Rigid Tailpieces Included

The cylinder ships with three rigid tailpieces measuring .75 inch, 1.11 inch, and 1.30 inch to match common lockset depths. Installers select the correct tailpiece and secure it with the supplied screw. Using the wrong length prevents the latch from retracting fully. No special tools are required beyond a standard screwdriver.

Segal SE1 Keyway Limits

The Segal SE1 keyway restricts key duplication to locksmiths holding the matching blank. It cannot be rekeyed to common residential keyways such as Kwikset or Schlage.
