Cylinder Lock for Schlage and Arrow Deadbolts
The Ilco 15995FA-26D is a solid brass Key-In-Deadbolt cylinder with a Satin Chrome US26D finish. It uses a 5 pin tumbler and the Segal SE1 keyway. The unit is keyed different and fits Schlage Key-In-Knob, Key-In-Lever and Key-In-Deadbolt locks as well as Arrow deadbolts. It serves residential and light commercial doors needing a direct replacement cylinder.
Mechanical Operation and Durability
Solid brass construction resists corrosion on interior and exterior doors. The 5 pin tumbler provides standard mechanical security without electronic components. Six included tailpieces cover single and double deadbolt configurations, allowing the cylinder to engage the bolt smoothly. No power draw, noise or thermal output is produced during normal use.
Tailpiece Kit Adapts to Multiple Lock Bodies
The package supplies three rigid tailpieces in different lengths, one lazy tailpiece for single deadbolts and two lazy tailpieces in different lengths for double deadbolts. This assortment lets the installer match the cylinder to the existing lock body without sourcing extra hardware. Builders needing a different keyway or a keyed-alike set cannot use this specific cylinder.

Questions about this item
How is the cylinder installed, and which tailpiece choice do people get wrong?
Remove the existing cylinder, then select the correct tailpiece from the six supplied — three rigid lengths, one lazy for single deadbolts, and two lazy lengths for double deadbolts — matching the lock type.
What maintenance or replacement will this lock need later?
Re-key or replace the 5-pin cylinder if keys are lost; the solid brass body and satin chrome finish require only occasional lubrication.
What limit appears first under sustained use?
The 5-pin tumbler mechanism will wear before the solid brass housing, eventually requiring cylinder replacement.
