Commercial Grade 1 Lockset Cylinder

The Kaba Ilco 15395GA-26D-KD is a commercial-grade lockset cylinder with a satin chrome finish. It uses a Sargent LA keyway and meets ANSI A156.5 Grade 1 standards. The brass cylinder is keyed differently and includes two keys for immediate use.

Simple Retrofit Installation

This key-in-knob or lever cylinder fits standard commercial door hardware preparations. A locksmith or experienced installer can swap the core without removing the entire lockset body. The most common issue is misaligning the tailpiece during reassembly, which prevents the latch from retracting smoothly.

Verify Door Hardware Compatibility

Confirm the existing lockset accepts a key-in-knob or lever cylinder with a Sargent LA keyway before ordering. The cylinder is supplied keyed differently, so it will not match any existing key system on site. Check that the door thickness and backset match the lockset manufacturer's specifications for this cylinder format.
