Compact 2-pack lantern for emergencies

This Kaito Mini LED Flashlight two-pack delivers 154 lumens from 30 LEDs in a collapsible, water-resistant ABS body. Each unit runs on three AA batteries for up to 50 hours of light and includes a top storage compartment for small items. The 360-degree illumination and FCC certification make it a practical choice for household emergency kits.

Suits campers and homeowners needing grab-and-go

Buyers who want a lightweight, battery-operated lantern they can pack in a backpack or store in a vehicle will appreciate the simple expand-to-turn-on operation and adjustable brightness via collar height. Those requiring rechargeable cells, integrated USB charging, or a focused beam for long-distance spotting should look at a different form factor.

154 lumens covers close-range tasks

The output comfortably lights a tent, picnic table or room during a power outage, and the collapsible shade lets you dim the glow to extend the 50-hour runtime. Beyond a few metres the spill falls off quickly, so the lantern is not suited for trail navigation or search-type distance lighting.

Questions about this item

What type and how many batteries does each lantern need to operate?

Each lantern is powered by three AA batteries, which are not included in the pack.

Can the brightness be adjusted when using the lantern inside a tent at night?

Yes, partially collapsing the lantern reduces the light output for dimmer illumination.

How can I verify the lantern is delivering the rated 154 lumens after inserting batteries?

Fully expand the lantern to turn it on at maximum brightness; the 30 LEDs will produce the full 360° output.
