Compact EDC flashlight

The Kaito ZF8319 is a pocket-sized aluminium flashlight that delivers up to 2000 lumens in Turbo mode and runs for 13 hours on its 1600mAh lithium-ion cell. It charges via USB-C in about 2 hours and carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. A magnetic base and clip allow hands-free attachment to hats, cuffs or metal surfaces.

Multi-mode light source upgrade

A rotary dial cycles through cold spotlight, 395nm UV-A and RGB side lighting, replacing single-colour torches and separate UV inspection tools. The spotlight offers stepless dimming from 100 to 2000 lumens, while the RGB strip provides colour lock and a red emergency beacon. Overheat protection safeguards the emitter during extended high-output use.

Everyday carry for inspection and emergencies

Suits commuters, campers and technicians who need a lightweight 5.1 by 1.57 by 0.9 inch light for counterfeit detection, resin curing, pet stain location or roadside signalling. Buyers requiring throw distances beyond the stated output or a larger battery capacity for multi-day expeditions should consider higher-capacity models.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions I need to clear for the 5.1-inch by 1.57-inch by 0.9-inch body?

The flashlight measures 5.1 inches long, 1.57 inches wide and 0.9 inches deep, so any pocket or pouch must accommodate at least those clearances.

How do I charge the built-in 1600mAh cell via the Type-C port and what common mistake should I avoid?

Plug a USB-C cable into the side port; the indicator shows charging status. The mistake is using a high-power PD charger — the manual specifies a standard 5 V source to prevent overheat protection trips.

When will the IP65-rated seals and magnetic base need attention or replacement?

The IP65 rating covers dust and water jets; inspect the rubber port cover and magnet face every few months for grit or corrosion, and replace the cover if it no longer seats flush.
