The Kaito SR15 emits 365 nm ultraviolet light from four LEDs through a filter lens that removes visible purple output. It is built for resin curing, locating pet stains, examining minerals and finding scorpions. The aluminium body carries an IPX8 waterproof rating for use in wet environments.

Magnetic tail and pocket clip simplify setup

A magnet integrated into the tail cap holds the light on any ferrous surface such as an engine bay or workbench. The supplied pocket clip keeps it accessible on a belt or gear. No tools or mounts are required; the only common issue is forgetting to clean the filter glass, which can reduce UV output over time.

530 mW/cm² irradiance defines the working range

At this intensity the beam suits professional non-destructive testing including fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspection. The 365 nm wavelength limits effectiveness on materials that fluoresce only under shorter or longer UV bands. Smart temperature regulation maintains output but does not extend the optical reach beyond the rated irradiance.
