Gloss Mahogany Concert Ukulele

The Kala KA-CG is a concert-size ukulele built with a mahogany body and a high-gloss finish. It includes an acoustic-electric pickup system for amplified performance. The instrument is designed for players who value a traditional wood aesthetic with stage-ready versatility. Its concert scale suits a wide range of hand sizes and playing styles.

Smooth Gloss Finish on Mahogany

The high-gloss coating adds a smooth, sturdy feel while highlighting the natural mahogany grain. Cream binding completes the visual detail around the body edges. Buyers who prefer a satin or open-pore texture for a more organic touch should consider other finishes. This gloss treatment is a defining characteristic of this specific model line.

Questions about this item

How does the concert-size mahogany body shape affect the tone when I plug into an amp?

The concert body keeps the mid-range focused and clear, so the piezo pickup delivers a balanced signal that sits well in a mix without boomy lows.

What connector does the onboard preamp use for the output?

The preamp is fitted with a standard 1/4-inch jack on the lower bout for a regular instrument cable.
