72-colour soft-core pencil set

This KALOUR set contains 72 individually numbered pencils with colour names printed on each barrel. The soft, highly pigmented cores lay down vivid colour and are designed for blending, shading and layering. Basswood casings sharpen cleanly and resist breakage during regular use. The set is supplied in a compact container measuring 1.9 x 18.8 x 28.2 cm.

Suited to hobbyists and beginners

Artists who want a wide palette for adult colouring books, sketching or classroom projects will find the 72 colours practical. The non-toxic formulation conforms to ASTM D-4236 and EN71-3, making it safe for users aged five and up. Buyers who need professional-grade lightfast ratings or a larger 120-colour range should consider other options.

Behaviour during extended sessions

The soft cores maintain consistent colour delivery across long colouring sessions without hardening. Break-resistant leads reduce interruptions when applying heavy pressure for blending or burnishing. Wood casings continue to sharpen evenly even after repeated use, keeping the points reliable for detailed work.
